The volume presents the findings of the similarly titled international conference held in October 2023 and deals with phenomena of dealing with and repressing the memoy of the dictatorial past on the Iberian Peninsula and in Latin America's Cono Sur. At the same time, it explores convergences and transnational transfers between the processes of transitional justice in the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking post-dictatorial societies.
